Bambu Lab R1 Long Material & Rotary Bundle expands the 55W CO₂ laser platform for both large-format work and rotary engraving. The configuration combines the R1 with the Riser Base, Automatic Conveyor Feeder, Rotary Attachment and Rotary Attachment Bracket, giving you a flexible setup for flat sheets, long panels and compatible cylindrical or round objects.

This bundle combines the R1 laser platform with accessories for pass-through material processing and rotary engraving.
Go Beyond the Standard Work Area
The R1 has a standard working area of 600 × 300 mm. With the Automatic Conveyor Feeder, the system can process materials up to 3,000 mm long, extending the workflow to full-length panels and large-format projects such as signage, shelving, decorative panels and furniture components.

Expand Engraving Beyond Flat Surfaces
The included Rotary Attachment expands the R1 workflow to compatible cylindrical and round objects. Instead of limiting artwork to a flat workpiece, the rotary system turns the object during laser processing, making it possible to create designs around items such as bottles, cups, tumblers, bowls and other suitable rotary workpieces.

Automatic Laser Alignment
R1 automates optical-path alignment that traditionally requires repeated test pulses and manual mirror adjustment. The Laser Alignment Sensor measures beam position and detects optical-path deviation while motorized mirror actuators automatically correct the alignment. The alignment process takes approximately one minute.
TriSense Positioning System
Cameras, lasers and encoders work together to determine the position of the material and design, measure surface height and track toolhead movement throughout the processing workflow.
Localization
Cameras and the Pinpoint laser help position designs accurately relative to the workpiece.
Surface Measurement
Laser distance measurement determines surface height and supports automatic focusing on flat or curved surfaces.
Motion Tracking
XY-axis encoders monitor toolhead movement in real time for controlled laser processing.
Fast, Controlled Laser Processing
Motion-control technologies adapted from Bambu Lab 3D printers help R1 maintain sharp details and consistent engraving during rapid toolhead movement.

Important Safety Information
In its standard fully enclosed configuration, R1 is classified as a Class 1 laser system under IEC 60825-1. When the Riser Base or Conveyor is installed, the enclosure is no longer complete and the R1 operates as a Class 4 laser system. Appropriate CO₂ laser safety eyewear and the safety procedures specified by Bambu Lab are required for this configuration.
