A2L Combo combines Bambu Lab's large-format A2L platform with the AMS lite Automatic Material System. Four filament slots allow automatic filament switching for multi-color projects while retaining the speed, stability and easy operation of the A2L.

Multi-Color Printing with AMS lite

The included AMS lite manages up to four filament spools and automatically feeds the selected material into the printer. This allows the A2L Combo to produce multi-color models without requiring manual filament changes between individual sections of the print.

Smart Filament Handling

Automatic Loading, Recognition and Backup

AMS lite simplifies filament management by automatically loading and unloading filament during multi-color jobs. Compatible Bambu Lab filament spools can be recognized through RFID, allowing filament information to be synchronized with the printing system automatically.

RFID Filament Recognition

AMS lite can read compatible Bambu Lab RFID-tagged filament and automatically synchronize filament information with the printer.

Automatic Filament Backup

When configured with matching filament, AMS lite can automatically switch to another spool when the current spool runs out.

Adaptive Vibration Compensation

Large-format printing requires precise motion control across a wider working area. A2L uses multi-point adaptive vibration compensation together with two granular dampers integrated into the frame to reduce resonance during demanding prints.

The PMSM closed-loop servo extrusion system delivers controlled filament feeding while monitoring extrusion behavior in real time. This helps the A2L maintain consistent material flow during fast and demanding prints.

Expandable Material System

Expand Up to 19 Colors

A2L Combo provides four-color printing immediately with the included AMS lite. The A2L platform can be expanded further with compatible Bambu Lab AMS systems, supporting up to four AMS units plus one AMS lite for a maximum of 19 filament colors.

Modular Creation

Go Beyond 3D Printing

A2L includes a dedicated expansion interface for the optional Blade Cutting Upgrade Kit. With the corresponding accessories, the printer can perform blade cutting and pen plotting in addition to FDM printing.
